Side Hinged Doors
Traditional is perhaps most often used to describe side hinged garage doors. Today, side hinged doors have been brought right up to date and are very popular because of their familiar operation and the convenience they provide for access on foot – no need to open the whole door to pop into the garage! The choice of styles is considerable too, giving side hinged doors a broader appeal. There are even designs that use the same insulated panels as sectional garage doors, providing excellent thermal and acoustic performance.

We all know how simple hinged doors are to use. The only potential issue is the door leaves dropping over time and this is eliminated by a strong and rigid door chassis in combination with steel hinges fixed directly to a steel frame for years of trouble free use.
All doors comply with British and European safety directives and our expert installation teams always put safe operation above everything else.
Security is good
Multi-point shoot bolts and key operated locking hold the doors secure. Key activated handles are designed to resist tampering and the lock mechanism is protected behind the face of the door.
